Updates from Team Minion
Newsroom
Competition dispatches, technical deep-dives, and team announcements. Follow our journey as we build and refine the Minion autonomous surface vessel.
About Our Newsroom
This newsroom serves as the central hub for all things Team Minion. Here you will find technical write-ups covering the engineering decisions behind the Minion platform, competition recaps with lessons learned, and announcements about team milestones and partner engagements. Our goal is to share not just what we are building, but why we make the design choices we do, and what we learn when those choices meet reality in open water.
Articles are written by team members with direct experience on the subsystems and events they describe. Whether you are a prospective student considering joining the Robotics Association at Embry-Riddle, an industry professional curious about autonomous maritime technology, or a fellow competitor looking for technical exchange, we hope these articles provide useful insight into the work happening in our lab.
